Hello,
Based on recent admission where mother came in finger/syringe feeding her baby, I was wondering if any of you have guidelines for finger feeding and/or syringe feeding that you would be willing to share.
* If finger feedings and/or syringe feeds are allowed - do you have a limit to the number of finger/syringe feeds that are allowed
* If you encourage finger/syringe feedings, do you give time restrictions for which the feeding should be completed
This is not our usual practice at LeBonheur.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
