Tri-care currently defines significant tongue-tie as a complete fusion of the tongue to the floor of the mouth, and refuses to pay for treatment of anything less. This definition is outdated and needs to be challenged. I would like to pull together LCs who take care of Tri-Care moms, whether you are in the military yourself or work on the outside. Please email me if you are willing to lobby Tri-Care to get this changed.
