Dear Lactnet Friends:
Every discipline has poor practitioners, who do harm. It doesn't matter
which profession. We read about these sad cases in the news, where
physicians , dentists, chiropractors and a variety of other licensed
healthcare professionals have hurt clients. Credentials are no guarantee
of safety.
It is not fair to tar a profession because some people in it are unsafe.
The best way to find a practitioner is by word of mouth; recommendations
from friends are always the best.
Personally, the best healthcare I have yet received has come from
chiropractors. I have 2 in my stable, along with an Osteopath, a sports
medicine physician, a midwife, a holistic dentist, a colon therapist, and
an acupuncturist.
warmly,
