When I had my hand surgery I remember being at the physical therapy clinic
at a table with others getting hand therapy from one therapist. But when I
went for the issue with my back it was one on one with the therapist for an
hour (because a different issue - not sure why) and when my son went to the
OT for a sensory intergration issue it was one on one for an hour. So not
all therapists do multiple clients at once, and as I said before the
therapist (don't know how to describe them other than marriage & family,
child, psychological) also work one on one for an hour. So for us to say
that the industry standard for IBCLC consults is one on one for 1 - 2 hours
shouldn't be such a stretch.
