Good morning,

I am requesting information/recommendations for patients going home from the hospital on continuous breast milk feedings.  We are updating policies and parent/patient education.  

What is the hang time for the breast milk at home?  

In this hospital, volumes are calculated to run for 4 hours, then new breast milk and tubing is hung.  Home supplies will not accomodate a change of tubing every 4 hours.
