Hi Naomi,

This is an area I work with a lot (baby won't take bottle). I have good success working with moms changing time, temperature and using a technique I call IBBM - intermittent bottle by mom - a low stress gradual approach. We usually see success in 5-8 days using this approach (sometimes even day 2 or 3).

Hi everyone,

I've been nomail for a while, coming back onboard.

Got a call from one of my daughter's friends, she has an 8 week old, they introduced a bottle at about 4 weeks, she did fine, in the last week she has refused bottle. Otherwise baby seems fine. takes breast fine, growing, etc. etc.

Mom is going back to school and work next week (welcome to US maternity leave) so they'd really like baby to be able to take bottle. Dad does bottle feeds (EBM) and it doesn't seem to matter if mom is around or not, baby just doesn't want bottle.
