What I tell parents to expect :-)  At least one pee and one poop in first 24
hours (let's us know the plumbing is working).  Then much poop (dark in
color) and small amount of pee until about day 3, then it reverses and
builds up to 6-8 pees a day and 2-3 poops ( Lighter to yellow)   by about a
week of age.  Pat in SNJ
