I had my weekly lesson with a med student today for my Breastfeeding lecture (I give them a Little Green Book for reference and start with how breasts work). I asked today's student if he knew whether he had been breastfed. He responded "oh yes! I was born in a refugee camp. There were no bottles there. If a mom had trouble breast feeding there were other women there you could go to and they would feed your baby for you. So if a mom didn't have enough of a supply others could help". It led to a discussion of Eats on Feets, and today's culture. What a great day!
