Yes to Jane K's idea: Clamping down and shallow latch and nipple pain:
next to eval is other signs/symptoms of TT -- clicking noise, low/slow
weight gain, bubble palate, nipple soreness/crease, and using Hazelbaker
assessment tool.
Also, I thought vasospasm included change in color of nipple and relieved
by heat. And am wondering if it's common for vasospasm to present at 4
weeks? What signs of vasospasm do you see, and has heat helped?
Next, i wonder about the reason for the anticoagulant, and if she's at a
therapeutic level. I know Dr Frank J Nice and Dr Tom Hale will answer
medication questions as they relate to breastfeeding: I wonder what their
opinion is.
Looking forward to hearing what you discover: please share
