If this mother has tethered nipples that won't evert, you'd need to 
watch carefully that she has the nipple 'conduits' to transfer milk to 
the outside world. Very infrequently I have seen women with tethered 
inverted nipples that don't communicate to the outside world. These moms 
become engorged and the babies cannot take the milk, and mom cannot pump 
the milk out.
