I for one would like to see a bit less emphasis on quantity of breastmilk and more emphasis on breastfeeding.  It seems that with so much focus on quantity, mothers then think they cannot breastfeed because they are not providing 100% breastmilk.  "I just want my baby to get the breastmilk."  Ugh!  This is a definite change in the last 5 or 10 years.  I used to commonly see mothers breastfeeding and supplementing, either at the breast or via bottle.  These were women who for various reason truly were not going to produce 100% of the breastmilk their babies needed.  So what?!  Breastfeeding is about *so much* more than breastmilk.  Why can we not help mothers breastfeed, regardless of how much breastmilk they produce?!
