Dear Lactnet Friends:
I use StressChest, a breast model that my then teen-aged daughter and a
friend discovered in a novelty adult toy store. They bought it for me as a
gag gift. The joke was on them when I took one look, and said, "WOW, these
are fabulous for my work!" I've since purchased at least 600 sets.
Here's the website: <http://www.baronbob.com/stresschest.htm>
Here's another: <http://www.megagadgets.nl/en/boobs-stress-chest.html>
Here's the description from the website. "Get a load of the Stress Chest.
We know that you won’t be able to keep your hands off these hysterically
life-like bazoombas. Guaranteed to give you hours of fun stress release
BUSTing activity, they come in a colorful package that makes them a popular
present. I mean, let’s be honest: What red-blooded American male wouldn’t
want to spend time alone with these “sweater puppies”? Whether you’re
looking for a hysterical stag party gift, a funny stocking stuffer for the
office Christmas party or just a fun way to release stress in your own
life, the Stress Chest is just the answer. They're so pink and realistic
you’ll feel like you should keep them in a bra. The best part is? You don’t
get just one. They come in pairs. DUH!"
I've had enormous success with them. They make clients laugh when I take
one from my pocket. Sometimes I've dropped it, and it bounces, again
creating curiosity and laughter. They are flexible, which makes them
perfect for teaching hand expression. They are perfect for showing what
happens to a breast when the baby is hanging off the nipple. I sometimes
give one as a gift to medical students who have won the quiz at the start
of the class. They are also cheap.
warmly,
