growth and growth charts. At 4 months with distractability, return to work,
and different caregivers, this can be a critical time for faltering growth
and faltering milk supply. Your case has a lot of factors. I would want to
first get an accurate baseline weight and then some subsequent ones,
perhaps weekly for a time. I would want to assess mother's milk expression
technique and which pump (if any) she is using. Maximize milk removal.
Then, of course, the baby could be evaluated for the lip and/or tongue
restriction(s), perhaps by an ENT or dentist. The mother may also want to
consider another pediatrician, if that is an option, because the
laissez-faire weighing practices are a red flag to me.
