Vitamin D drops can be obtained that have a coconut oil or olive oil  base 
and these only require one drop on the nipple for baby to suck off.   The 
pharmaceutical version of Vit D drops also have food coloring dyes in  them.  
My group moms often ask about Vit D so I researched brands for  contents.  
Wondering why baby needs D so early?  Why contaminate the  infant gut so 
early with anything other than breastmillk?
