I am wondering why this mom is being given Bromocriptine when there is a newer and safer (especially for the mother) drug called Dostinex. It does seem possible to reduce supply and continue to breastfeed according to Hale while using Dostinex ... maybe she would be able to reduce her prolactin levels enough to continue breastfeeding and conceive...Anyhow, Bromocriptine is a very nasty drug and Dostinex is much better. Kind of like Reglan v. Domperidone.
