I myself had a frenotomy a few years ago. Ok...I had 3 with the last stitching so it didn't grow back. I asked that they not use any anesthetic...wanted to see what baby feels...the sound of the sissors was bothersome but there was absolutely no pain and my dentist probably snipped some 8+ times.
Ok...when they did the stitches I did request anestetic.
