Hello all,

Can anyone who uses a sliding scale fee structure and gives parents
paperwork for insurance reimbursement help me figure something out?

I offer a sliding scale to all my clients - they choose the price based on
what they feel they can afford. The fees themselves become more expensive
according to number of weeks of life, to encourage people to get help
sooner.

I am about to start providing reimbursement paperwork (Pat Lindsey's
Lactation Visit Receipt), but I'm worried about how to note my fee.

Will insurance companies be suspicious if they see a different fee for
every client? (For instance, $75 for one two-week old, $150 for another;
etc.) If you offer a sliding scale, how do you handle this?

Thanks for any insight into this!
April
