I agree with Nikki Lee when the usual thrush treatment fails, it is likely
a bacterial infection, usually staph. There will be very good info in our
archives esp from some of our doctors. I would suggest to do a clean catch
specimen of the milk, culture the bleb, and treat with the antibiotic based
on the culture and sensitivities. This might require more than a 7 to 10
day course, she will have to see her healthcare provider for the specifics.
