Hey everyone,
I'm soon starting a baseline study of what parents do in informal
learning settings (science centers, zoos, etc.) In particular, I'm
focusing on an early childhood setting, which is a somewhat closed off
space where parents can let their kids roam around. Essentially, I'm
trying to see how many parents (or chaperones etc) just sit around,
whether they interact with their children, how they do so, etc.
I've been looking for similar studies (either about childhood areas or
guardian behavior in general) and was hoping some of you may be able
to point out any studies you know of.
Thanks so much,
Ari Einbinder
