I have a client with symptoms of severe Reynaud's (she's undiagnosed, but her symptoms are classic). Breastfeeding is excruciatingly painful. Pumping is not as painful. She is using olive oil and warm dry compresses, and keeping her breasts warm with mini-hand-warmers inside her bra when she goes out. After several weeks of pumping, her breasts are tender and ache and her nipples are sore. I"d love for her to be able to start breastfeeding again but she's really scared. Baby has had one CST visit. I sent her Dr. Newman's suggestions.
Any tips, I'm heading back this afternoon.
