I have seen and tested with a gauge. I am concerned about the fact that it pauses, a design they tout as being more baby-like. IN my mind, a pump is not a baby. I never enjoyed pumping and wanted to be done ASAP. 30 minutes of pumping is too long for me. But I didn't mind nursing for 30 minutes. I believe some research has shown that the quicker the milk comes out, the more comes out. Stopping the milk flow by stopping the vacuum doesn't work. I've seen this happen when a mom with her milk in tries to use the preemie pump which we only use the first 3 days or so.

Subject: Melodi breast pump?

I only found a request about the Melodi breast pump by Lucina, written last year in May, but did not find a reply.

I think I saw it at last year's ILCA Conference, but have not spoken to any mom who has used it.

My daughter in law's company is offering it as the breast pump of choice. As she travels in her line of work, she needs one that will be hardy as well as effective.

Any information would be appreciated!
