Who on earth has their entire life and newborn feeding method completely
sorted and easy within "a few days"? I would much rather see something
talking about how life with a newborn feels chaotic and overwhelming for
everyone for the first six weeks or so, and encouraging people to set
goals and keep on going if at all possible, because it really does get
much easier (just not necessarily in "a few days").

Knowing that these babies are all going to undergo significant surgery
should be an additional reason to strongly encourage the maintenance of
milk supply and mother's milk feeding, not a reason to say "oh well, if
you're still feeling overwhelmed a few days in, just let it go and pat
yourself on the back."

And how sad I felt when it talked about how "the demands of work" can be
a consideration in those very early days. I'm guessing this is an
American organisation?
