This reminds me of a paper that I wrote in my 1st semester of grad school (in November of last year). I will attach a link here for anyone that would be interested in looking at the research that I found. It is amazing what the peer counselor can do when coupled with the IBCLC within a WIC clinic. I hope to sit for the exam next July so I can help make a bigger impact as well. I wrote this about 2 months before I started with the WIC program so I have a better personal understanding of the program now as opposed to internship hours from the past as well as continuously reading documents to stay up to date.
