I'd suggest looking into the use of Manuka honey topically and green tea
extract internally, both purported to have specific antibacterial properties
specific to MRSA. I have an older article from Steena Barnett, AU
herbalist re the green tea use, Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (1998) 42,
211-216. Boosting this mom's immune system would be vital, too. Perhaps
she could work with a natruopath? Breastfeeding would be vital for baby's
health, I agree with other posters. Brandy, I can send you the article I
have saved if you can't get it online.
