Hello wise and caring LN listmothers, participants, and lurkers,
In the months since I've left the profession, not being able to make a
living in private practice, and unable to get steady work in a hospital, I've
continued to learn from and share my views with all of you. But the time has
come to let this piece, this Lactnet community, go, as well. I think I've
been in this community since 1997. just months after becoming an IBCLC. It
has been a place of learning, challenge and comfort of shared commitments
to the health and well-being of mothers, babies, the families they are part
of and the societies the live in, as well as the many and varied
professionals in service to them.
Each of you are like stars in the night sky. Some seem to be giving off
more light, some seem more near, some more far, but the sky would be
different without each and every one of you. You all burn with your own unique
gift to share. It has been my pleasure to be part of this community and I wish
you all the best as a new year dawns, both on the calendar, and hopefully
in my life in its own way, somehow, as well.
As ever, hoping for Peace,
Judy

post, and apparently I've been saying the same thing for 1 7 years...:) "Hello
to all. I just started with LACTNET and I am buoyed up above my
frustrations coping with BF misinformation and sometimes nastiness that we
all deal with. I see it isn't just me and I'm not alone. Thanks to all of
you out there for your intelligence, your curiosity, your interest, and
your humor. This is so necessary. "
