Molly,
Re  Your 5 wk old case infant -- you are not overreacting. I never want to
discharge the dyad from followup until things are settled including a
steady wt gain. You are not the primary healthcare provider but if you can
continue to support and follwowup this dyad, you should. Continue to report
to the baby's doctor and involve public health if you can such as the WIC
breastfeeding counselor for your county health dept.
