A few weeks ago there was a cow with mad cow disease identified in the US. Much was made of the fact that this cow had not entered the food chain....but it was a dairy cow and there were statements made that its milk was not a problem for human consumption. Got me thinking about how non-European milk banks often exclude people who lived in the UK when mad cow disease was a problem. Anyone else heard more and/or thought about this?
