I agree these are useful. I know the analogy doesn't work perfectly, but
sometimes I use the "vehicular" descriptions: if you are just driving
normally with a normal "load" a regular car is fine, but if you are going uphill,
over tough terrain and/or trailering something extra, you want a truck.
Moms seem to get that. Cars are standard too, trucks for more heavy duty
industrial use...:)
