I read the article about HCP supporting breastfeeding (http://www.liebertonline.com/toc/bfm/6/5), and I'm wondering why the laid back/biological nurturing position isn't included in the list of "good" positions.

This position enables a better "chin up" latch, uses gravity to keep the baby well positioned and puts less stress on mom's back & neck & shoulders, and helps babies deal with fast letdowns and even helps compensate for a TT before it is clipped. And it's great for skin-to-skin, too.
