Oh, yikes. By trying NOT to provide links to commercial products here on
Lactnet, I am only serving to confuse and obfuscate. So -- begging the
Listmothers to be lenient when they lash me with wet noodles -- here is the
link to the e-book that make me do a double take:
http://www.amazon.com/Make-Breast-Medical-Literature-ebook/dp/B008CM8CJO

Naomi -- I couldn't agree more with your statement: "Surely, a personal
face to face assessment from a qualified health
care provider is important when mother is having difficulty with
nursing, but I'm sure (I hope) that many many women are able to nurse their
babies successfully, even through some bumps, without the need to consult
an expert."

No -- rather -- what was bugging about this blurb was precisely that I
couldn't figure out what was bugging me about the blurb. You are also
quite correct to suggest "It's not fair to evaluate the book based on the
advertising campaign."

Maybe I should chalk it all up to: the advertising bugged me, and I should
just (as they say in the UK) Keep Calm and Carry On.
