Has your hospitle considered changing the logistics? In the educational
movie I showed earlier today, baby stays with mom, baby is moved from
the operation table to the bed with mom and stays with her.

Since there is no time period set for what constitutes skin to skin, the nurse who is assigned to take care of the baby can use her discretion. It could be as brief as 2 minutes if she is wanting to get the "job" done with. She can then check off the box. I can't find information on what constitutes a length of time except for the 50 minutes average that it takes baby to latch. We can't have the c/s baby stay on mom 50 minutes logistically.
