A video to share with OBs and anesthesiologists:
The natural
caesarean: a woman-centred technique. 11:59http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5RIcaK99Yg
In the video, it seems they are only doing this technique for planned cesareans, but the technique could be used any time there is not a life or death emergency.
I don't think I would actually call any cesarean "natural," but it is much more breastfeeding-friendly than the standard cesarean, starting with skin to skin.
(Thanks to the South Bay Birth Circle for the video.)
