Thank you Virginia for your kind words about the storm. Here in New York City, I am feeling for the hospital staff and patients at NYU Hospital which had to evacuate over 200 patients last night when the back up generator failed. Apparently, twitter reports suggest that NICU and PICU babies had to be carried down 9 flights of steps. We live above the area of electrical outage. I think the preparations in New York City minimized loss of life even if there is a lot of damage to property and to the subway system. I'm hoping others in the path of the storms are safe and well.
Best, Susan
