I  believe the recommendation is to nurse for the 2 weeks, pump and store 
what she can.  It is brief, but at least baby gets colostrum and gut is 
given breast milk first before the formula begins.  It is tragic. I also 
believe chemo doesn't start for a few weeks until surgical healing has 
happened.   I've also heard of delaying the chemo, but BrCa in a young woman 
is more vicious.  She needs chemo for any chance to survive and be a mom for 
however long that she can. Pat in SNJ
