Hi Joy (and all),
There actually has apparently been a new warning issued, but it doesn't seem to be publicly available that I've found. Specifically, the statement refers to two studies (one in Europe and the other in Saskachetwan) and suggests that doses over 30mg should be avoided. I didn't read it as anything newly alarming in terms of risk, but can see that it would give the reader pause. I haven't heard anything from any mothers or LLL yet, which leads me to think that the information is not being widely disseminated - though I just saw a message from Jack Newman that clarified that the warning is not going to change his prescribing practices, so I imagine that people will now be curious just what warning he is talking about :).
So, anyway, just to let you know, Joy - you were right (and first out of the gate as the fax just came out Friday night!).
