Dear all What a shock to hear this sudden & sad news! I did not know Jean personally but have always greatly enjoyed reading her detailed & informative posts. She had a way of writing that gave clarity to the understanding of oedema and the use of Reverse Pressure Softening. After I became qualified (2011) and had newly set out in private practice, we exchanged a few emails, where she, without hesitation, willingly sent me further helpful reference material to her work, we chatted a bit about our common interests in nursing, midwifery & lactation care in times past & she gave me some needed encouragement which helped with confidence as a new IBCLC.I can appreciate what a great loss this will be & how special & wise she was to all those around her (family, friends & colleagues).Warmly, Debra Dixon Dubbo, NSW, Australia
