This is just proposterous - where is the evidence that babies *need*
to eat for at least 20 minutes at a time on day 1? How the heck are
they timing this? Babies almost never feed continuously for 20
mins....is the mum using a stop watch timer?
And they are supplementing with formula on day 1-2 if the baby isn't
doing this? *WHY?*
It's not you who needs to show your evidence but them!
Laurie's scenario was the baby who 'will pee and poop 1 or 2 x per
day in the first 2 days' which is (I would say) correct - babies do
get rid of meconium anyway whatever is happening at the top end. On
day 1-2, stooling is not much of a guide.
