Not one of the view ladies made ONE positive comment about breastfeeding. They truly got it wrong about the goal of advocacy groups, stating on the show that groups are trying to take ALL formula out of hospitals. I went to the View's website and posted my very long opinion on their blog.

Haven't been able to watch the video as link won't work outside the US,
but sounds as though there's some truth to that - at least some
hospitals (I think still fewer in the US than in the UK) *have* refused
to provide any formula (actual feeds for babies, I mean, not just the
freebie take-home samples) without medical advice, and I know some
lactivists have supported that move. Is it possible they were referring
to that?
Best wishes,
Sarah
