\when I went back to work when my youngest daughter was 4 months old
(very part time) I tried every kind of nipple before finding one she
would take. In the end she agreed only with the Nuk. I remember
watching her drink from it and being horrified at how she used her
tongue. The motion was all wrong. Fortunately for us, it did not
affect her breastfeeding but I certainly never reccomend that nipple.
Avent - yes, horrific code breaker - has a new nipple out that looks
pretty good. It widens gradually making it easier for the baby to
latch on to and flows slower than a similar shaped nipple. Does anyone
have any experience with this nipple? Does the bottle nipple really
make such a difference as long as the mother is using paced bottle
feeding?
Thanks,
