Dear Wise Ones, Help! I am confused. An article published on Medline Plus explained that there are 700 types of bacteria IN breatmilk. I thought breastmilk was sterile until it passed over the skin, which of course is colonized with bacteria. Thoughts? Thanks. Rowena
