I believe family members who do not have symptoms can be tested via nasal or nasal-pharyngeal swabs?
I believe I have read that sometimes mrsa is treated with special body washes, even a mild bleach and water mix
I recall I read something about that on medscape or somewhere. Of course, you would not wash a baby's mouth with
that.
Sorry I cannot help you much, but the mother can use bactroban on nipples. Possibly they will take antibiotics by mouth.?
