The "Best for Babes" Foundation web site has a response to the formula supplementation study, posted on May 13, 2013, written by Tanya Lieberman, IBCLC. It is titled, "Science You Can Use: Flawed study says early formula use increases exclusive breastfeeding."
It also has links to the thoughtful response by Alison Steube, MD in the Breastfeeding Medicine blog: http://bfmed.wordpress.com/2013/05/13/early-limited-data-for-early-limited-formula-use/

The Best for Babes Foundation is out front responding to these issues in a timely manner and connecting to ordinary moms. Their mission, as explained in a May 15, 2013 Gold Breastfeeding On-Line Conference lecture, is to stop the divisive blame and guilt game and help mothers feel truly supported to overcome barriers and achieve their breastfeeding goals. I think they are doing a great job!
