In short: Mom did not know the amount of pit she was given - just what the Doc's told her, " The lowest amount we can." She thinks it was '1' - whatever that means.
Mom never experience severe edema - strangely enough. Her milk came in then breasts softened up within 24 hours or so. She tried hand expression as well as pumping. We tried RPS - really not much of anything going on. I am still waiting to hear from her re: anything unusual with her mother during pregnancy. I did ask about chemical exposure as a child or when her mom was pregnant but she said she didn't think there was...but would ask.
