From Pediatric gastrointestinal disease: pathophysiology, diagnosis ..., Volume 1 By W. Allan Walker. Vascular anomalies/hemangiomas of the GI tract are rare but when present are commonly associated with skin lesions. In addition, esophagitis could explain the infant's pain associated with eating. I agree with previous posts, the infant needs to be evaluated by a pediatric team.
