Nikki, that's a really good question. I do not ask my clients about
pinching unless they bring it up. I ask about response to cold or
arousal. Some of the most accessible nipples I've ever seen simply do
nothing but stay there when pinched.
I do have a semi-related question from a mom which I was unable to answer:
When a mom has pencil-eraser nipples postpartum, which never go back to
flat and smooth like they used to pre-pregnancy (ie they always protrude
rather firmly), will there be a point post-weaning, where they will go back
to flat? The mom's nipples even show through a padded bra and this has led
to some awkwardness in professional settings. High school, I know, but
there it is :P
