I don't think it says that there are not CERPs if there is an intro or Q&A. To
me it says that the TIME these take are not certified. For example, a talk
takes 45 minutes and the intro and questions take 15 minutes. CERPs sould only
be given for the 45 minutes, not for the entire hour. It makes sense that these
portions are not part of the info given when CERPs are applied for. In
practice, I suspect this has not been followed, but perhaps this is a recent
clarification to which CERP providers need to pay attention if they have not
been doing so. I can see that it presents some logistical problems for the
providers.
