Just came across this blog post from a mom who has donated, first to IBMP, then when she became uncomfortale with the Proalcta aspect, to a HMBANA bank. Then after an RSV infection where the milk bank wouldn't take her milk she moved to private donations through MilkShare. It's just one story and it doesn't really answer the question of whether peer-to-peer milk sharing is impairing supplies to HMBANA miik banks, but it is interesting to read about her progression as a donor.
"A total of over 3,3110 ounces of Kira’s milk was donated - 230 ounces was donated to the International Breast Milk Project; over 555 ounces was donated to Bronson’s Milk Bank; over 1,515 ounces to a local adopted baby (Baby J); over 1,000 ounces to another local adopted baby (Baby I). "
