I have a 3 month old who has really given mom some some issues. Mom got
help from me around 8 weeks old for sore continual nipples. There was an
obvious type 3 tongue tie. She did get relief for nipples only 2 weeks
after frenectomy. She finallly got some relief and then 3 weeks he started
to break the sucktion and relatch all of a sudden. He is even doing it with
the bottle. She has done everything that I have told her to do, suck
training, cranial sacral therapy, taking him off to retrain. I have seen
the baby 2 weeks after frenectomy and it appeared as if doctor took enough
of the frenelum as there wasn't anything there. And it didn't seem there
was a secondary one hidden... which I see on occassion. Any thoughts on how
I can help this mom? She is ready to start pumping and bottle feeding him.
