I was going to go into the archives but was too under the weather... I will suggest my daughter check the archives for the discussion.. 

I didn't get to the formula part (that was unfortunate.. I often wonder about the background of people who make these statements.. did they not get breastfed.. did they or their spouses struggle with breastfeeding to the point of resentment and total frustration.. that might be worth a study in itself!) ... but if the study, flawed as it is, inspires some more thinking on the topic (hormone levels affecting bfdg outcomes).. good! I was particularly interested because of the mothers I have met with IGT who have used progesterone during pregnancy and their increased success reaching their breastfeeding goals.

We have a lot to learn, we human beings.
