I don't think lactation cookies work, but they are extremely popular
amongst some sectors in Australia. And mothers swear they make a
difference. And are very happy to make them. I have often warned on a
website I work on giving breastfeeding advice voluntarily that lactation
cookies are not the main game in low milk supply. I think they work as a
placebo in mothers who have enough milk but doubt their milk supply. I am
